Lasagne
1 lb ground beef 1 tsp basil
1/2 lb ground pork 1 1/2 tsp oregano
1 (28 oz) can whole tomatoes 2 cups creamed cottage cheese
1 (12 oz) tomato paste 1 cup parmesan cheese
2 tsp garlic salt 12 oz grated mozzarella cheese
12 oz lasagne noodles, cooked and drained
Cook and stir meats until brown. Drain. Add tomatoes; break up with a fork. Stir in tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano and basil. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes or until thickened. Stir together cottage cheese and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese. Set aside 1 cup of meat sauce and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese. In ungreased baking dish 13"x9", alternate layers of 1/3 each noodles, remaining meat sauce, remaining mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese mixture. Spread reserved meat sauce over top; sprinkle with 1/2 cup parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with reserved mozzarella cheese. Bake 45 minutes at 350. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing.
